Off-Piste

Sledging, Snowshoeing & More – Pure Family Fun

The Kitzbühel Alps have much more to offer than perfect pistes. There is also enough room and opportunity here for sledging, cross-country skiing and other activities.

Sledging & Family Fun

Our region offers a whole host of family fun, joint sledging, for example. Athletes like to take a hike to the cabin and enjoy the journey down all the more – those who aren't so ambitious can also take the lift so they can sledge down the slope with ease.

Skiing by Night in Kirchberg

You won't just encounter skiers in the evening, skiing by night on the illuminated pistes; a particular highlight is of course the ever popular moonlight sledging, where the magical cabin atmosphere becomes a very special experience. The floodlit piste on the Gaisberg mountain is accessible every Thursday and Friday from 18:30 to 21:30.

Cross-Country Skiing around Kirchberg

In nearby Aschau, Kirchberg, you will find one of the region's most beautiful cross-country ski runs at 1,200 metres. In addition to this, there are more than 250 kilometres in the entire region. It's no wonder that it has an official Tyrolean cross-country seal of approval for its huge selection in both styles and in all levels of difficulty.

Snowshoeing in Kirchberg

If you still haven't tried it out, then it's about time: snowshoeing is becoming increasingly popular and is an incomparable nature experience, especially on a full moon!

Winter Hiking in Tyrol

With a variety of cleared paths, everything is prepared for hikers in winter, too. You do not need any special equipment: look forward to quiet hours and unique nature experiences.

Send us a non-binding holiday request and get ready for a winter holiday in Tyrol, which also has a lot to offer off-piste. You can also make a direct booking online.
