The Kitzbühel Alps are a popular destination with cyclists when it comes to mountain bike tours, freeriding and downhilling. Little wonder, since with over 1000 kilometres of cycle routes, of which 800 km are MTB routes & trails at 40,000 metres altitude, the Kitzbühel Alps provide unlimited bike fun from May to October. Optimum terrain for anyone who is looking for variety – from tour riders to adrenaline junkies.
‘Come with me on my favourite tour to the Choralpe and enjoy the descent afterwards via the single trails into Spertental. Enjoy a stop-off in the Wiegalm, where we get to enjoy typical Tirol treats and superb views.’

Easy & Family tours
The Kitzbühel Alps bike region also has quite a lot to offer for beginners, those getting back into the swing of things and families. All our lateral valleys, whose scenery will fill you with inspiration, are easy to ride on. Traditional inns, blossoming Alpine pastures and dreamy bike routes are really easy and accessible with not much climbing involved.
One tour hotelier & bike guide Philipp particularly likes to recommend is Untere Grund in Aschau. A visit to Kasplatzl – a lovely exhibition cheese dairy – is a great way to finish a bike tour and for anyone who hasn’t had enough, an easy climb continues up to the traditional Labalm, where fantastic Tirol fare and a petting zoo awaits families and pleasure riders.
